Abstract

Die back of primaries in certain succulent TV clones and premature cracking and dropping of seeds of certain biclonal seed stocks have been causing serious concern during the last couple of years. Causal organism is identified for these diseases as Fusarium solani, a parasitic fungus. Carbendazim, Tridemorph, Hexaconazole, Propiconazole and their combinations proved effective both in laboratory and in field investigations for controlling this pathogen.
